This was my second time to Camp Wahoo. It is truly a "diamond in the rough". If you want a unique experience, reserve judgement and visit. Dennis, the owner, is friendly and hospitable. I would name it Camp Wahoo Bar and Curiosities, there is so much to see. It is rustic, the bar is a pole barn the owner built with his father, you can feel the history and the love of family. He has a penchant for cooking and restoring furniture, as he offered some home-made beef jerky and had on display a beautiful hutch he had refinished for his wife. If you are looking for Jellystone Park, you won't find it here. But, if you are looking for Jellystone that's your problem. I'll be back with all my out of town guests.
The "bar" is just a storage locker for the owner's junk. Against our better judgement we sat and had a beer anyways. The owner put is hands on the bar and ask what will we have all the while a swarm of gnats come flying up from his hands movement. The guy was nice, but he obviously gave up.
The dumpsters were just about fully covered with trash. Literally could barely see them.
Hire someone willing to clean and help with outside duties that's willing to put worth the effort!

Dennis the owner is so kind. We stopped in for a beer on a whim. Take the location in for what it is. Appreciate the surroundings, the uniqueness, the experience. This place is unlike any other you will ever find. If you want a one of a kind experience come here. Stay open minded - and you’ll enjoy it. We’ll be back.
